It is rather amazing to see tube stock revegetation survive in some places. This has so far survived well and unexpectedly. Me thinks that maybe the sticks and leaf litter have made it inhospitable to browsers who benefited from dinner ‘provided on a plate’ beside their main highway in another apparently more seedling friendly site nearby.
Gary and I enjoyed contributing to hosting this day and appreciated the support of Connecting Country staff in contributing ‘good’ energy and resources for the seminar. Although, we did not get to cover everything, the content was useful for many participants from what I heard informally and it was refreshing to hear people’s perceptions of our place in the landscape.
Thanks to Jules and Loius for the photos and Louis’ interesting response to the land, biodiversity and revegetation. They certainly tell the story well. Am wondering whether it is okay to make a copy for our property records from the webiste?
