Our Invasive Species Submission

The Victorian Government was requesting feedback on the Discussion Paper for its proposed Invasive Species Management Bill (click here for earlier Connecting Country web-post). As stated in the government’s media release, the legislation aims to modernise Victoria’s approach to the management of invasive species and provide greater flexibility to respond more effectively to biosecurity threats.
