Child Safety

Connecting Country is committed to promoting and protecting the interests and safety of children. Everyone working at Connecting Country – including paid staff and unpaid contributors – are responsible for the care and protection of children and reporting information about child abuse.  The Connecting Country Committee of Management are taking a leadership role for the organisation’s implementation of the Victorian Child Safe Standards.  A copy of Connecting Country’s Child Safety Handbook is available for viewing (CLICK HERE), which describes the organisation’s Statement of Commitment to child safety, its Code of Conduct, its Child Safety Policy and Child Safety procedures.
