Birdata is the gateway to BirdLife Australia data including the Atlas of Australian Birds and Nest record scheme. You can use Birdata to draw bird distribution maps and generate bird lists for any part of the country. You can also join in the Atlas and submit survey information to this important environmental database.
NatureShare is a free, web-based tool for individuals, groups and communities to upload observations, sightings, photos and species information, and share the knowledge across Victoria. The NatureShare database currently includes all the plants, all the major animals groups and many insect groups known to occur in Victoria (currently over 8,500 species names).
The Atlas of Living Australia contains information on all the known species in Australia aggregated from a wide range of data providers: museums, herbaria, community groups, government departments, individuals and universities. Allowing users to share biodiversity knowledge, it provides tools to access, combine and map data on Australian species.
