Hi Grace,
Thanks for your post. The Reconciliation Exhibition was huge and impressive. The World Environment day stalls were in the unused eastern ‘wing’ of the building. The Reconciliation Exhibition volunteers very kindly rearranged some of their displays to allow better access to this area.
With the farmers market in the adjoining car park as well, they were all very well attended – and complementary as well.

The majority of our priority areas occur within the Mount Alexander Shire, but there are some that occur within or near the Greater Bendigo Shire. The talk is being held at the hall behind the Uniting Church in Lyttleton St, Castlemaine. It is in the section between Kennedy St and Barker St, and occurs next door to the museum/art gallery.

Great to hear you’re interested in the website and events.

Many organisations in the Mount Alexander region and surrounds (including Connecting Country) hold events similar to these throughout the year. The ‘Events Calendar’ on the Connecting Country website is updated regularly with new events and many are also advertised as blog posts on the home page.

You might like to consider subscribing to the Connecting Country website to recieve email updates. Just click the ‘Subscribe by email’ button near the top of the homepage.

Many events are also advertised in the local papers – the Castlemaine Mail and the Midland Express.
